About me

Location: Ghent, Belgium

I’m a thirty-something technical writer and translator. I’m French, majored in American Studies and Translation, lived in Brussels and London for a while, then went back to France a few years ago until I met my Belgian boyfriend. I moved out to Ghent in 2015 and have been living the Flemish dream since then.

I have a few weird nerdy interests like social networking, anything related to Native Americans and North American history in general, and the Belgian comic books “Tintin”.

In case you’re wondering where the blog’s title comes from, it’s a line delivered by Mal Reynolds in the TV show “Firefly”: “This is my scrap of nowhere. You go on and find your own.”
